Unknown armed assailants snatched a motorcycle and two cellphones from a government employee on gun point within the precinct of Shabbirabad thaana in the broad daylight here on Thursday.
According to details, Irfan Ali bahalkani employee of health department was on his way to home when he reached near mandhani police check post suddenly a group of robbers intercepted him and on gun point snatched bike, two cell phones and 15000 cash. No case was registered till filling of this report.
On other hands kashmore police claimed to have caught at least six gamblers along with stake cash and play cards and booklets here on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said that six gamblers included Nazeer Ahmed, Ali Akbar, Jogi, Ali Gul, Qalandar bux and Arshad Ali were caught from gambling den from the limits of police A section near juman shah mohallah.
Police said that more than a dozen cellphones, thousands of stake cash and play cards were confiscated by police whereas a case was registered against them on gambling act.
