People from different walks of life took out a rally in favor of Medical superintendent (MS) Headquarter Hospital, Landi Kotal here in front of the health center on Wednesday.
Number of local tribal carrying placards inscribed with slogans, the MS adopted to enhance efficiency of the hospital, gathered at Iqra Square and marched towards the hospital main gate.
Addressing on the occasion the speakers including district vice-President of PTI Haji Zarbullah Shinwari, ex-chief of Tanzeeme Naujuwanane Qabail (organization of tribal youth) Israr Shinwari,General Secretary of Clearing Agents Association,Torkham Haji Wahid ,Farman Shinwari,Samiullah Afridi and others extended their unconditional support to the setting MS Dr Jamshed Sherani and said after decades the hospital had been made a true treatment facility for the ailing segments of tribal society.
The MS himself a punctual and dutiful person and forced the other ghost and irregular health staff to be on time on their official duties that is why some of them hatched conspiracy against him but will not be succeeded in their mal- designs, they added.
They assured that the tribesmen stood by the MS to improve efficiency of the health center and provide best curing facilities to them at their door steps.
The protestors demanded the highup of the health department to take immediate action against the absent health staff of the hospital and authorize the MS to commence additional initiatives to make the health center more useful for the locals.
After filing their agitation, the protestors dispersed peacefully.
