KOHAT
Water and Sanitation Services Company Kohat (WSSCK) on Saturday observed global handwashing Day. Different events were arranged in three schools of Kohat city by Water and Sanitation Services Company Kohat (WSSCK) in connection with Global Handwashing Day in which included Government Boys High School No-4, The City School and Abdul Qadir Khan School.
Schoolchildren delivered speeches and skids during event regarding cleanliness and water conservation on this special day.
Little kids of the City School highlighted importance of cleanliness and water conservation through their painting, drawing and colouring Asma Ali, Communication Manager of the WSSCK and KPCIP Gender Coordinator Shela Gul while addressing the ceremony underscored the need for cleanliness and informed about benefits of hand washing to schoolchildren.
Certificates were also distributed among male and female students who took part in different activities organised by WSSCK.
Later, the WSSCK also arranged an awareness walk in connection with global handwashing day, in which the schoolchildren and staff members also participated.
