MARDAN
Global Hand-washing Day observed in Mardan to motivate and mobilize citizens especially the students to improve their hand-washing habits.
A walk was organized by Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan on the occasion which was led by deputy manager customer relations Rahatullah and students of Quaid-e-Azam School for boys Mardan also participated in the walk. “Before eating and after use of washroom, hands should be washed with soap for 21 Seconds”
Rahatullah said that today we pledge to work together to improve hand washing habits.
In his address to the students, Principal Quaid-e-Azam Group of Schools for boys Mardan, Tila Muhammad Shah said that students are our future and through them we can bring positive change in the society in the field of WASH.
He said that spreading a positive message to others is an ongoing charity and students should improve their habits.
The participants of the walk also emphasized the importance of communicating the message about washing hands, raising awareness about this Global hand washing day.
