Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has stated Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state and its command and control system recognized globally, which are in strong and stable hands.
Scientists and institutions are linked with a concrete network in Pakistan, no such precedence in rest of the world, according to a statement issued here on Wednesday, quoting the ATP chief is saying, while reacting to a last week statement of US President Joe Biden about Pakistan’s nuclear program,
He added Pakistan is perfectly capable of safeguarding its national interest while respecting international law and practices.
Our nuclear program is in no way a threat to any country, he stressed.
“Like all independent states, Pakistan reserves the right to protect its autonomy, sovereign statehood and territorial integrity.”
It merits mention that United States President Joe Biden expressed the belief that Pakistan may be one of the “most dangerous nations in the world” during an address in California while speaking about the changing global geopolitical situation.
Shah while criticising India, the arch-rival of Pakistan, her missile isn’t in its control, why not the world questioning it?
He continued to say: “Pakistan has proved itself as a peaceful nuclear state despite confronting with intense terrorism, extremism, war, importantly fanatic neighbour like India”.
Pakistan has always used its nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, he added.
Furthermore, he said a contradiction is visible between remarks of U.S president Joe Biden and spokesperson of White House.
Shah urged the U.S president to avoid making statements for merely political lust and popularity.
The party leader asked those who were indulging in undermining and trashing the image of Pakistan through mere statements should give an answer of their irresponsible act and what colours did their power show in the destruction of human beings?
He emphasized that the government needed to make a stronger diplomatic front and should give a befitting response to any such irresponsible statements/remarks.
Furthermore, he asserted diplomatic relations should be strengthened under cooperation in economic and social affairs.
