KP’s culture dept expressed solidarity with Kashmiri people

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa culture and tourism authority and directorate general of sports observed a black day here on Thursday to express solidarity with the people of India-held Kashmir against the occupation of their region by the Indian forces on October, 27 1947.
The department of culture and tourism held a rally in the premises of Qayum Sports Complex Peshawar.
The participants held banners and placards inscribed with slogans against India over the occupation of Kashmir. The DC condemned India over the dispute and said Kashmir was part of Pakistan and no force could separate them.
He said the people of Pakistan fully supported the demand of Kashmiris for the right to self-determination and that Kashmiris would get freedom soon. DG of the authority Bakhtiar Khan led the rally which was participated by the employees and other people.
Director Admin and Finance Khurshid Alam, Director Women Sports Rashida Ghaznavi on behalf of Sports Directorate, Administrator Jafar Shah and many employees were present who participated in the rally to express solidarity with the Kashmiri community.
Bakhtiar Khan said that Indian atrocities have been committed in Kashmir for the last 75 years, and we stand with them for their freedom.
Today is the dark day when India laid the foundation of oppression on Kashmiris and illegally occupied Kashmir, he added.
“The purpose of coming out today to express solidarity is to send a message to the world and especially to India that Pakistani people and its government will continue their moral and political support for the people of the valley,” he maintained.
The participants demanded the international community to ensure the implementation of the resolutions related to the independence of Kashmir and to stop the ongoing Indian atrocities in Kashmir immediately.
