PESHAWAR: Crackdown on sub-standard and unregistered fertilizer continued in district Mardan as 311more bags were taken into official custody on Sunday. The crackdown has been launched on the special directives of the Director General (DG) Agriculture (Extension) and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mardan, Habibullah Arif. In this connection, a joint team of the district administration, Mardan and Agriculture Department conducted raids on godowns on Babani Road, Par Hoti and checked the quality of the fertilizer and taken into possession 311 bags of the substandard and unregistered Nitrophos and Moon Star into possession.
