‘Iqbal Day’

Special Assistant to CM KP on Information, Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif here on Wednesday said that philosophy of Hakeem-ul-Ummat Hazrat Allama Iqbal is still a beacon of light for all of us and his teachings could help eliminate anti-state elements that have jeopardized our national goals and objectives.
In a press release, he said that Allama Iqbal raised his pen for the betterment of Muslims of the subcontinent and filled their hearts with dedication, hope and bravery that paved the way for separate homelands for Muslims.
He said the day of Nov-9 was the greatest day in our history when Allama Iqbal was born. Being Pakistanis, we must realize the importance of ‘two-nation theory’ that helps create separate land for Muslims and practice their religion with freedom.
Similarly, all the political parties including Jamiat Ulma Islam, Awami National Party, Qaumi Watan Party, Jamat-e-Islami besides different national and local organization such as Bank of Khyber, Hamza Foundation, also observed ‘Iqbal Day’ with national enthusiasm.
