President of Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce Ms. Rafat Shaheen, Former President Ms.Uzma Butt, Senior Vice President Ms. Saboohi Hussain , Vice President Ms.Rahat Jabeen , General Secretary, Executive Member Ms.Muntaha Shah Rukh , General Member Ms. Sadia Ahmed and others were also present in the meeting. State Bank Chief Manager Tariq Riaz said that State Bank wants to work together with Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber of Commerce on various projects for the welfare of women in the future.
Women are a little behind in our society but today they are playing very important role in our society. State Bank wants to play a role in financial inclusion and business promotion of women working at micro and level. State Bank needs suggestions and involvement of women from Rawalpindi to establish a regional forum in Rawalpindi district. In this regard, State Bank wants the support of Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce.
The President of Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber of Commerce Ms. Rafat Shaheen, introduced herself to the delegation and said that Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber of Commerce is ready to cooperate with State Bank in every way.We are working to facilitate women entrepreneurs and will fully cooperate with State Bank in all future awareness seminars. He emphasized that a mechanism should be established for providing loans to poor women.
Awareness sessions will be organized in universities and other educational institutions in association with State Bank. Senior Vice President Ms.Saboohi Hussain and Deputy Chief Manager of State Bank Ms. Safia Hammad also highlighted the problems faced by women entrepreneurs and said that women entrepreneurs face many problems in the beginning and earlier women.

General member Ms,Saadia said that She has planed to develop a unique business of her kind, which was appreciated by all the leadership of State Bank and assured to support her in terms of finance in this project. Secretary General Junaid Yousaf informed the visiting delegation about the efforts made for the women of the chamber and said that the Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce is providing free membership to all the students who are willing to start a business from zero level.
He briefed the delegation regarding the procedure for taking membership in the chamber and suggested that a simple procedure should be adopted for providing loans to women who want to do business. VP MS.Rahat also insisted to ensure about hassle-free loan procedure.
