The provincial minister for labor and parliamentary affairs Shaukat Yousafzai has condemned the arrested of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senator Azam Swati, saying the incumbent government did not provide any tangible relief to the public but allegedly involved in victimizing its party leadership in fake cases.
It is to note here that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested after a raid at his farmhouse in Islamabad.
He was taken into custody for the second time early Sunday morning for allegedly tweeting against senior military officials.
Shaukat Yousifzai maintained the incumbent government has failed to solve longstanding issues of people and delay in general elections in the country would create more problems and instead of any stability.
He made these remarks while addressing a function held here on Sunday at his native hometown Shangla. Provincial minister maintained that the PTI chief had announced that after proper consultation with other senior members of the party, an announcement of provincial assemblies would be made.
The KP government would dissolve the provincial assembly after receiving orders from party chief Imran Khan, he added and said that without holding fresh polls the country’s problems could be resolved and political stability could not be achieved.
Shaukat Yousifzai maintained “the imported government is in a state of panic, and the arrest of a senior senator Azam Swati is highly condemnable. It seems the country is becoming a banana republic where lawlessness is prevailing”.
The current legislative assemblies of the country have failed to solve the problems of the people, he added and said that at present the economy at the brink of collapse, inflation is increasing, prices of essential commodities are skyrocketing, factories are shutting owing to non-availability of gas and country exports are also on down trend.
Yousifzai alleged the federal government for covering their corruption cases and paving ways for their looted money, adding the PTI government was taking all steps in the province to provide relief to the public.
He said that the provincial government has initiated a number of projects to develop the Shangla district.
On this occasion worker Pakistan People Party (PPP) Mohammad Iqbal along with family members announced joining of PTI.
Later, the provincial minister also approved the Solarizepani for Barbanjar.
