Thrashing and misbehaving with two media persons of Bajaur and Hangu by the medical superintendent(MS) Bajaur hospital and a political worker was condemned and asked for action against the two culprits.
It is to be mentioned here that last day MS Bajaur hospital,Dr Liaqat misbehaved and tortured local journalist Zahid Jan and in the same way local volunteer of Pakistan Tehreeke Insaf(PTI) thrashed a member of Hangu press club who annoyed on the question asked by the media person on occasion of PTI workers march.
In this connection media persons carried out protest demonstrations in Landi Kotal that were attended by scores of local media persons on Sunday.
The protestors were carrying placards inscribed with slogans against the bad misbehavior of MS and political worker chanted full-throat slogans against them.
Speaking on the occasion journalists including Khalil Jibran, Akmal Khan Qadri,Rahat Shinwari,Ahmad Nabi and others said that the two mentioned media persons were executing their professional duties when they were beaten and insulted by MS and PTI worker that was equivalent to imposing restrictions on media.
They asked the concerned authorities to take necessary action against them and adopt steps to foil such a thing in future.
Earlier an extra-ordinary meeting under the head of President Khalil Afridi was held in Press club Landi Kotal that was attended by scores of local journalists who categorically flayed the misbehaved events.
