ISLAMABAD: Cases has been registered on the instructions of Cane commissioner Punjab Hussain Bahadur against six sugar mills who have not started crushing from 25 November. Punjab Cane Commissioner Hussain Bahadur has issued direction to register case against Bhakar, Patuki, Okara, Bahawalnagar, and Jhang sugar mills. According to First Information Report (FIR) registered sugar mill owners said sugar mills have not started the cane crushing and violated the Sugar Cane Act. One to Five million Pkr or three year imprisonment could be allotted to these mill owners. Online
