PESHAWAR: Local trading community has announced complete support to law-enforcement agencies in their anti-narcotics drive. The decision was taken during a meeting of Tajir Ittehad Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held here with president, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman in the chair on Sunday. Besides, Shaukatullah Hamdard, Mian Mohammad Aqeel, Zafar Hameed, Aziz Khan, Hayat Khan, Hamayun Khan, Waheed Nisar Khalil and Sheikh Aslam, the presidents of various bazaars also attended the meeting. Addressing the meeting, president of KP Tajir Ittehad, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman said that the use of narcotics is increasing with passing day and destroying youth, which is tantamount to genocide of our next generation. He said that if we have to protect our youth from narcotics, then we should have to join hands with law-enforcement agencies taking action against it. APP
