KP govt determined to eradicate terrorism: Saif

Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, has said that the provincial government is determined to eradicate terrorism, and has tried to resolve matters through talks with armed groups, but the government will never show any leniency to deal with forces hostile to peace.
The law enforcement agencies are playing their full role in this regard and the police personnel and security forces are not shying away from sacrificing their lives in this regard.
In a statements, Barrister Saif said that when terrorism resurfaced in Swat, people protested, the provincial government supported the demand of the people and took timely action to suppress the activities of miscreants, which normalized the situation.
He added that now such Incidents are happening in the southern districts of the province. The institutions are actively working and police and forces’ officers and jawans are trying to establish peace there.
Barrister Saif expressed regret over the behavior of those who vandalized under the guise of terrorist incidents and those who scored political points on these incidents, saying that such behavior of political opponents is inappropriate and against the national and public interest.
The situation demands of all the segments to fight the monster of terrorism together. He said that the ongoing political and economic instability in the country requires an immediate approach to the people and establishing a representative and stable government of the people with a fresh mandate that can bring the country out of the current crises.
He said that according to the instructions of Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab Assemblies will be dissolved after which no one will be able to stop the country from moving towards the general election process.
