ASP Hayatabad Dr Muhammad Umar visited churches in Pishtakhara area to inspect security arrangements on Sunday.
During the visits, he spoke to the cops on duty and directed them to remain alert in their duties. On the occasion, he also reviewed security arrangements around the churches.
He said that the police were providing security to all citizens irrespective of religion and race. He said the minorities always played their role in the development of the country, this is why their security is of importance to the authorities.
“Foolproof security has been provided and we are monitoring all the arrangements,” he added.
