Committee lauds police efforts in controlling crimes

A delegation of business community on Thursday called on CCPO Muhammad Aijaz Khan.
During the meeting, a 41-member committee lauded police efforts in the ongoing years against the anti- social elements and assured full cooperation to the force in maintaining law and order situation in Peshawar.
The committee said that there has been a significant improvement in the law and order situation in the last few months, during which the police have achieved significant successes by showing diligence, including several terrorist attacks.
Along with thwarting the incidents, several dangerous gangs involved in Sarafa Bazar robbery, Chowk Yadgar robbery and other serious incidents were wiped out it added.

Addressing the participants, CCPO Muhammad Aijaz Khan said that the investigation process is also going on against the elements spreading mischief and false rumors, who will soon be brought under the law after failing in their nefarious purposes.
CCPO One further said that NET Team and Peshawar Police arrested 9 thousand suspects involved in drug trafficking during the current year, sealing 24 ice and heroin factories and 355 kg of ice, 532 kg of heroin. , 717 kg of opium, 03606 kg of hashish have also been recovered.
