Mardan police have arrested two accused allegedly involved in the murder of a eunuch and recovered weapon and motorbike used in the murder, a senior police officer said.
Addressing a news conference SP investigation Sanaullah Khan told reporters that a few days ago unidentified accused killed a eunuch identified as Mohammad Umar alias Lal in the limits of Saddar police station. He added that later on Shahzad, brother of the deceased eunuch, registered an FIR in the Saddar police station. SP told a reporter that a police team headed by SHO Saddar police station Abdul Salam Khan started investigating the case. He added that the team arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the incident identified as Mumtaz and Iftikhar.
He added that the reason for the enmity was a few days ago the victim had a verbal quarrel with the accused. He added that police also recovered weapon and motorbike used in the incident.
