BAJAUR: Unknown assailants Thursday shot dead a religious scholar in main bazaar of Khar, Bajaur tribal district. According to police and rescue sources, Moulana Aziz Jan was way to his book shop when attackers opened fire on him. He sustained critical wounds and rushed to District Headquarters Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. Large number of locals rushed to hospital and staged a protest demonstration to condemn the killing. Later, District Police Officer reached hospital and assured people that perpetrators of the incident would be brought to justice. Police has started probe into the incident. APP
