Ms. Hina Mansab Khan Welcomed delegation & highlighted the issues of women in business

Special Assistant to PM/MoS for Industries and Production, Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi has called for enhancing women’s participation in business sector and labour force as they could play an integral part in the development of the society.
He was addressing as chief guest to a conference on women empowerment and role of business women in economy arranged by Rawalpindi women chamber of commerce and Industry (RWCCI) here on Thursday.
He said small and medium enterprises are very important for any developing economies. These enterprises do not require huge finance to run their business and can easily be managed by the owners.
He said women especially in rural areas, have the potential to be significant change agents as farmers, market vendors, businesswomen, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
The MoS said without ample participation of the women in business, no society can make progress. He was of the view business women can make a significant contribution to the country’s economic development in case they get opportunities.
He lauded the role of the RWCCI for promoting the cottage industry and training the women to run their small business at local level.
Earlier welcoming the minister of state /SAPM for Industries and production Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi, the Group leader RWCCI, Vice Chairperson SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Chairperson National Business Women Council, Ms.Hina Mansab Khan informed him about the role of RWCCI in empowering the women.
She highlighted the issues they are facing to run the affairs of RWCCI and sought the help of the state minister to make the process some easy to get loans by the business women.
The SAPM assured the members of the RWCCI that he will try his best to resolve their issues and talk to the authorities concerned for the purpose.Ms.Fareeda Qureshi Founder Karachi WCCI South Also Graced the event, She Invited SAPM Mr.Tasneem Qureshi to visit Karachi WCCI South.

In chief RWCCI, Ms. Riffat Shaheen President RWCCI, Ms.Asma Kanwal Founder President RWCCI , Ms, Saboohi Hussain SVP, Ms, Rahat Jabeen VP, Secretary General Junaid Yousaf RWCCI, All Office Bearers and All Media Members and Participants, she discussed the problems faced by women during business.
She briefed about the whole journey of RWCCI that started from 2016 than she presented some proposals including availability of multimedia room and office building.
Mr. Tasneem Ahmad Qureshi Honorable Minister for State of Industries & Production and SAPM Promised and ensured that he will create a linkage between RWCCI and Commerce Minister, He will arrange a meeting between Federal Minister of Commerce & Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce, Government will provide all necessary facilities and Guidance to resolve issues of Rawalpindi women chamber of Commerce & Industry.
He also enlightened the role of business women for the betterment of Economy. At the end thanks note was given by Ms. Asma Kanwal Founder president RWCCI.
