Bhanamani Police during a successful operation arrested a gang of robbers involved in snatching a tractor loaded with steel worth lakhs of rupees at gunpoint and kidnapping the driver.
According to SHO Bhanamani Police Station Noor Haider Khan the gang was allegedly involved in robery and kidnaping the driver of the truck loaded with steel.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Nizamuddin, Asim and Ishtiaq residents of Peshawar.
SHO told reporters that the gang was involved allegedly in a number of robeeries and thefts.
During the initial investigation, the arrested suspects have revealed their involvement in several robberies, including the robbery of steel.
During the important operation, on the identification of the accused, more than 30 lakh rupees worth of stolen money was recovered, he added.
