ISLAMABAD: A Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) delegation led by its central leader Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari on Sunday called on Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid (PML-Q) supremo Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. Abdul Ghafoor Haidari enquired about the health of Ch Shujaat Hussain and discussed the overall political situation of the country in the meeting. Former federal minister of law and justice Khalid Ranjha is also present in the meeting. Both leaders consulted on the political situation in Punjab and agreed to continue to work in harmony with each other ‘for the progress and prosperity of the country’. Abdul Ghafoor Haidari said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan damaged the country as well as its culture and politics with his abusive language. “Ch Shujaat Hussain’s name in politics is tolerance and perseverance,” he added.
