An important meeting held here on Wednesday with education minister Shahram Khan Tarakai in the chair, appreciated 55000 admission of children in the second shift school system across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Education Minister was briefed by the Department of Primary and Secondary Education regarding the second shift schools and was informed that the education journey of the children in the second shift schools is going on successfully.
According to statistics, 55000 male and female students have been admitted in 1210 schools of second shift till now.
Apart from this, recruitment of 8991 teachers and administrative staff through the Parent Teacher Council has also been implemented.
Besides, the performance of these schools has improved by 29%. Education Minister Shahram Khan said that the second shift school is the flagship project of this government and all the focus is on providing the best quality education to the students.
Due to second shift schools, the number of out-of-school children will decrease significantly and in this era of inflation, poor man’s children will get a chance to get free education.
