Swat Police arrest another motorcycle lifter

Swat Police have arrested the second accused member of the motorcycle lifters gang and recovered four stolen motorcycles from his possession on Monday.
An FIR of the motorcycle lifting was registered with Police Station Saidu Sharif by a complainant Shahab Ahmad, resident of Raja Abad. The motorcycle was lifted from Roshan Hospital, Saidu Sharif.
Taking notice of the incident, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Malakand, Sajjad and District Police Officer (DPO) Swat, Shafiullah Gandapur formed a joint team headed by SP Swat and SDPO Saidu Sharif and comprising of Station House Officer (SHO) Saidu Sharif and other police officers and tasked it for the arrest of the accused and recovery of the motorcycle.
The investigation while utilizing modern scientific techniques traced the gang with the help of CCTV cameras and arrested its ring leader Akhtar Said son of Redol, resident of Balasur, Chapriyal and recovered five motorcycles from his possession.
During the investigation, he revealed the names of his two accomplices. Saidu Sharif Police while following the case arrested the accused Abdul Rehman son of Redi Gul, resident of Chapriyal and recovered four more stolen motorcycles from his possession.
Efforts for the arrest of the third accused Omar Ali , resident of Mardan, were in progress.
