Meeting reviews progress in mega water supply schemes

An important meeting held here on Thursday with the caretaker minister for development, planning and public health engineering Hamid Shah in the chair, reviewed progress so far made in mega water supply schemes for the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The meeting was attended by the senior officers of the departments concerned.
The forum was given a detailed briefing on different ongoing mega water supply schemes in southern districts.
Public health engineering department informed the meeting that at present work on 13 mega water supply projects in the different southern districts is underway.
In the meeting, district-wise data was shared with the participants about the water supply schemes and sanitation projects.
The caretaker provincial minister for development, planning and public health engineering Hamid Shah directed officials concerned to complete all ongoing projects in stipulated time.
Hamid Shah asked the authority to utilise all judiciously and wisely on public welfare.
All future projects under the department should be designed according to the best planning and international standards, the caretaker minister added.
