The construction work of the bypass in Bhara Kahu area of the federal capital has become a nightmare for the passengers of Islamabad, Azad Kashmir and Murree. Traffic jams are common for hours, due to the incompetence of the administration, ambulances are also stuck in traffic causing serious harm to the precious human lives.

According to the details, during the construction work of the bypass in Bhara Kahu area, vehicles started getting stuck in Bhara Kahu Bazar for hours, due to which long queues of vehicles were formed at 17 Meel area and on the other side at Malpur Stop. Due to the incompetence of the administration, the road beyond the Bhara Kahu Jhugi Stop has been demolished on both sides, while the construction company has neglected to straighten even the single carriageway road, resulting in large vehicles getting stuck and causing long queues of vehicles.

Apart from the passengers, the patients who are referred from Azad Kashmir, Murree to Islamabad/Rawalpindi are also stuck in the traffic for hours and the students face severe difficulties in reaching the educational institutions. This uncomfortable situation has been going on for several days, while the administrative officers return from Malpur after reviewing the project. Citizens and passengers have appealed to the authorities including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to help them get rid of this torture.
