A meeting of the Divisional Intelligence Coordinating Committee was held at the Commissioner’s Office Saidu Sharif that was presided over by Commissioner Malakand Division Saqib Raza Aslam.
Regional Police Officer Sajjad Khan also participated in the meeting. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioners of the districts of Malakand Division and officials of intelligence agencies.
At the meeting, the overall security situation in Malakand Division was reviewed. The meeting reviewed the overall security situation and resources for the by-elections on the vacant seats of the National Assembly and the general election of provincial assembly.
The Deputy Commissioners briefed the committee on the issues related to the peaceful conduct of the election at the district level.
Presiding over the meeting, Commissioner Malakand Division Saqib Raza Aslam issued orders to hold a meeting of the intelligence coordination committees at the district level and send detailed recommendations to the divisional coordination committee regarding security arrangements for the elections.
