Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat visited Mohmand District today and interacted with tribal elders & notables during Grand Jirga.
Chief Secretary and IG Police, KP were also accompanying Corps Commander. Corps Commander lauded the sacrifices of local tribesmen and said that unparalleled successes against terrorists were only possible because people fought shoulder to shoulder with security forces.
Corps Commander assured that Pakistan Army will provide all possible assistance in ongoing efforts for socio-economic development in the area. Tribal elders thanked Pakistan Army for restoration of peace and assured their unflinching support to the Security Forces.
On the occasion of his visit to district Mohmand, the Corps Commander also inaugurated the newly constructed DPO office and the water supply scheme in Ghalanai. The residents of the area thanked the Pakistan Army for inaugurating the long-desired clean water project.
