Capital City Police on Sunday released performance report of the one and a half months which claimed that 1230 cases have been registered and 1349 accused have been arrested during the period.
According to the statistics, more than 78 kg of heroin, 25 kg of opium, more than 51 kg of ice, more than 481 kg of hashish, and 313 bottles of alcohol have been recovered from the possession of the suspects.
According to the details, in the light of the special instructions of SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi, operations are being carried out by the Peshawar Police against the elements involved in the nefarious drug trade.
The report added that during the continuous operations 1349 accused were arrested in the last one and a half months, while the accused 1230 cases have been registered against the arrested persons.
Similarly, more than 78 kg of heroin, 25 kg of opium, more than 51 kg of ice, more than 481 kg of hashish, 313 bottles of liquor have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
During the initial investigation, the accused confessed to be involved in the scandal, against whom further investigation was started by registering cases.
