Caretaker ministers for fair distribution of subsidized flour in KP

Caretaker minister for food and irrigation Fazal-e-Elahi said on Friday that distribution of subsidized wheat flour in the province was underway, adding that each district of the province is being given sufficient flour as per their demand.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held to review the flour distribution process across the province.
The meeting was also attended by minister for labour, excise and narcotics Manzoor Afridi.
Additional secretary food department, director food, director operation halal food authority and other senior officials participated in the meeting.
The forum was briefed regarding the subsidized flour distribution in each district of the province and current situation of the stock in government godowns.
The caretaker minister for food on this occasion issued instructions to quarter concerned to strengthen the monitoring system of all the dealers and ensure fair and timely distribution subsidized flour across the province./
On this occasion, the minister for labour, excise, and narcotics control, Haji Manzoor Afridi stressed on the fair distribution of subsidized flour in Khyber district and said that the delivery of subsidized flour and quota should be made as soon as possible to Tehsil Tirah.

Fazal-e- Elahi said that for the first time in the history of the province, the provincial government is spending Rs35 billion to provide relief to the deserving people.
The meeting was informed by the officials concerned that distribution of subsidized flour is going to start very soon in Tirah Tehsil of Khyber tribal district.
Manzoor Afridi added that all resources will be utilized to provide relief to the people.
