Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Qamar Hayat Khan visited various markets including Qisa Khawani, Khyber Bazar and Hospital Road on Sunday to get information about the problems of traders.
During the visit, SP City Muhammad Saeed, DSP Islahuddin and other traffic officials along with the presidents of the markets were also with him.
Qamar Hayat Khan during the visit informed the citizens and businessmen about the traffic problems and assured them to solve the problems faced by them.
He said that efforts are being made to solve the problems of traders as they play an important role in the country’s economy.
Traffic police chief said that he will visit different markets at different times and take steps to get the awareness of the citizens and traders about the problems related to traffic, including its immediate solution.
Operations against encroachments are ongoing in the city so that the citizens and traders do not face any kind of difficulties and the citizens and traders should fully cooperate with the traffic police in this regard,he added and said that steps are being taken by City Traffic Police Peshawar to provide travel facilities to the citizens.
