PESHAWAR
Commissioner Mardan Division, Yousaf Rahim has directed all the concerned authorities to accelerate the pace of work on ongoing development schemes as per directives of the federal and provincial governments to complete them within the stipulated time period.
He issued these directives during a meet aimed to review progress on ongoing development schemes and performance of departments in this regard.
Besides, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mardan Captain (Retd) Abdul Rehman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) (Finance) Sami-ur-Rehman, ADC (General), Shahzeb Khan and officers of all concerned departments also attended the meeting.
On this occasion, the Divisional Commissioner was briefed in detail regarding performance of departments and ongoing development projects under their supervision.
The Commissioner directed the authorities of all departments to accelerate the pace of work on ongoing development and also ensure their completion within the stipulated time period as well as quality of work to pass-on their benefits to the people.
The Divisional Commissioner further directed daily visits to bazaars to keep check on the rates of essential food items and get the people rid of artificial price-hikes and implement the official price list in letter and spirit.
