PESHAWAR
The officials of Food Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have said that more than five million bags of free flour have been distributed among the 1.7 millions deserving families of the province in a week.
The officials said that the provincial government has distributed the free flour relief package among the beneficiaries’ through 5122 registered dealers, adding that the distribution is continuous and 90 mobile vans, 103 utility stores and 18 mobile utility stores have been engaged for the process of distribution across the province.
They claimed that the provincial government has decided to distribute more than 100,000 bags of 10kg flour among the deserving households under the special Ramadan package in KP.
It may be mentioned here that the entire government machinery is active for the fair distribution of free flour and all provincial ministers and secretaries including Chief Minister Mohammad Azam and Chief Secretary are visiting the free flour points.
