Police claimed to have arrested three persons allegedly involved in robberies and other crimes in the limits of Chamkani Police Station.
The suspects were arrested in an operation led by DSP Chamkani Zaid Alam, SHO Chamkani Iftikhar Ahmed.
The arrested accused have been identified as Zeeshan alias Shane, Sajjad, Umar and Bakhtullah.
The arrested suspects are also involved in the robbery of Missi Sajid Gul’s general store in Ghaz Chowk area of Chamkani in 2022.
During the preliminary investigation, the arrested accused have admitted to involvement in several incidents of robbery.
Separately, in an operation, the accused involved in the attempted murder were also arrested.
The stolen money and the weapons used in the smuggling were also recovered from the possession of the arrested accused
The accused have admitted their involvement in the crime during the preliminary investigation, which is expected to reveal more important and sensational revelations during the investigation.
