Two security personnel including a Subedar embraced Shahadat and four others sustained injuries when a force vehicle was hit by roadside planted explosive device here in Malakdin Khel area of subdivision Bara district Khyber on Saturday.
The forces official while confirming the incident said that the security forces convoy was targeted with a roadside hidden bomb that went off with a big bang.
As a result two soldiers Martyred and four got wounded.
Soon after the mishap, reinforcement of forces was rushed to the site and with help of locals shifted the bodies and injured soldiers to the nearest health center for medical aid.
The deceased were identified as Subedar Hazrat Gul and Naik Nazir whereas the wounded were known as Naik Muqarrab, Sepoy Haris, Sepoy Niaz and Sepoy Wajid.
Naik Muqarrab was stated to be in precarious condition.
Vehicle of the forces was also destroyed in the offense, the official said.
A missive search operation had been launched in the area to trace the culprits, the official said.
According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police information in the last three months a total of 25 attacks had been filed in which 125 were martyred and 212 got injured.
