Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah gave heavy weight behind the coalition partners statements, in which they have shown an olive branch for PTI led opposition amid growing political wrangling.
Shah while chairing a meeting of the party’s central executive committee on Tuesday opined political and constitutional standoff is unaffordable further for the country.
He slammed the inability of the incumbent coalition government for handling the prevailing crisis.
A greater national dialogue is crucial to pull the country out from constitutional and democratic crises, Faiq stressed.
The party leader condemned the terrorist attack in Quetta in which killed four including two policemen and left 18 other injured.
He expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
India – arch rival of Pakistan is continuously hatching conspiracy in Baluchistan and other parts of the country, he alleged.
He added the anti-Pakistan forces have become active in implementing their nefarious designs.
In order to give a befitting response to anti-state elements, Shah stressed it is essential to design a joint board of wisdom and honesty (BWH) forthwith, saying that people with political acumen have agreed on it.
He said ATP will play its foremost role in such efforts.
Shah said the party has decided to expedite initiatives for filling communication gaps.
On the other hand, he continued to say the Middle East is on a path of peace and development but Pakistan has engaged in political wrangling.
Faiq welcomed the once again endorsement of SC [Practice and Procedure Bill] 2023 during the joint session of the parliament.
However, he criticized that the legislation often passed through the joint parliament session for personal interests and protection of misdeeds and acts but never made lawmaking for welfare and interest of ordinary people.
The ATP chairman berated the ruling elite for failing to bring a roadmap to overcome the crisis.
He added every step of the incumbent government had brought destruction everywhere.
The whole system is being hostage by dynastic politics, while failure has intentionally made the fate of the country, Shah added.
The party chief made it clear that political and economic stability couldn’t come until the formation of a joint board, consisting of all institutions which had been proposed by ATP.
