PESHAWAR
CCPO Muhammad Ijaz Khan on Monday paid a special visit to School of Investigation and other government buildings and inspected overall security arrangements in detail and issued certain instructions to officers concerned.
According to a handout, SP Rural Zafar Ahmed Khan and police officers briefed CCPO Muhammad Ijaz Khan regarding the measures taken for security.
Mr Ijaz Khan reviewed the internal, external and surrounding security arrangements of the government buildings in detail.
He also issued special instructions to the concerned police officers to further improve the security by conducting a security audit of the government buildings.
CCPO Peshawar on this occasion said that strengthening coordination with other units against miscreants, conducting intelligence-based operations and expanding the scope of targeted search and strike operations based on confirmed information.
