Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday refused to participate in the All Parties’ Conference, called by the Awami National Party (ANP). “We consider PDM to be the main reason behind current political and economic turmoil and ANP is a part of current government. Therefore, we will not participate in this APC,” Asad Qaiser, PTI’s senior leader and former Speaker of the National Assembly said. The ANP is set to host the all parties moot – aimed at cooling down current boiling political temperature.
Talking to media on Tuesday, Asad Qaiser said PDM government was ‘playing with the constitution’ and the constitution will stand breached if the elections in Punjab are not held on May 14. “We don’t agree with the agenda of APC,” he said.
