PESHAWAR: The information directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa employees on Tuesday went on pen down strike and locked all sections till the fulfillment of their demands. The employees of the Information department demanded that the DG Information should be appointed from the Directorate and not from the outside. Appointment of a non-professional and non-technical person as DG Information is unacceptable, the employees said during protest in Information Directorate. The protest is led by the employees of Information Department with the support of Attached Department Officers Association and Journalists Community. The protesters said that they will not step back from their stance and expressed hope that their complaint will be heard and will take back the order of newly appointed PMS DG Information. APP
