Chairmen of village and neighborhood councils have disapproved hiring process of class IV (naib qased) and said immense misdeed has been found in the postings.
Scores of village council(VC) and neighborhood councils(NCs) including chairmen Haji Khan( NC-1),Haji Sher(VC-17),Nazek Shah(NC-4)and Yad Wazir(NV-2) blamed that in 36 VCs and NCs of Landi Kotal almost 36 class IV employees had been posted on recommendation of parliamentarians and administrative officials with support of the local government officials and chairmen of the concerned councils were kept ignorant of it.
No proper and lawful procedure was followed during filling the vacancies and the posts had been sold at a price of five lakh to seven lakh rupees per post, they remarked.
“In NC-1 of Khuga Khel village, resident of Piro Khel village has been posted as class IV that is equal to negate the right of youth of the former village,” Haji Khan added.
They threatened that they would not allow the allegedly illegal employees to perform their duties in the respective VCs and NCs.
The councilors warned that if the postings were not revised then they would move towards the Court against it.
It is to be stated here that neither monthly salaries and offices have not been allotted to the chairmen of 36 VCs and NCs so far; however , class IV of the councils have started regularly collecting monthly pay from the national exchequer.
Assistant Director local government was repeatedly contacted on his cell phone to take his version on the matter but he did not attend it.
