AUTA hold farewell ceremony for retired professors

Agriculture University Teachers Association (AUTA) Saturday hold a farewell reception in the honor of the retired professors with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jahan Bakht of the Agriculture University Peshawar, former Dean Meritorious Professor (retd) Dr. Fida Muhammad, Dr. Naqibullah, Dr. Nowshad, Dr. Iftikharuddin, Dr. Mansoor Khattak, Dr. Saleem Khan attended.
Former Deputy Provost Abdul Basit also participated in the event. On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean Prof. Dr. Dawood Jan, Dean Faculty of Crop Protection Sciences Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rahman, Director Vice Chancellor Secretariat Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zulfiqar along with faculty members, administrative officers and presidents of various associations of the university participated.
AUTA President Dr. Bashir Ahmed and General Secretary Muhammad Ashfaq welcomed the retired professors and other participants and congratulated the retired professors for their excellent service. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Jahan Bakht while speaking said that the teacher is the architect of the nation, the position of teachers is very high, the teachers and administration of our university are very professional who have brightened the future of thousands of students, our students are not only in the province.
The teachers and professors are performing their services in different fields across the country. Retired employees are our best asset, they are valuable services for the development and welfare of the University, and their suggestions for the development and welfare of the University will be valued in the future, he added.
