Central Additional General Secretary of Balochistan Awami Party Syed Hasnain Hashmi has said that the miscreants who attacked national installations and tried to cause damage to state must be dealt with iron fist. Those who are poisoning the minds of youth against the state and national security institutions do not deserve any concession.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, the ruling BAP leader said that under the constitution of Pakistan, all rights including freedom of expression and protest are given to the citizens but in the guise of protest, damaging the state and national institutions and mocking the national security institutions is not acceptable under any circumstances.
He said that those who mislead the youth in the name of politics should tell what kind of freedom they want in the country and which foreign enemy has given them the slogan of freedom. Imran khan has been spitting poison against the state institutions for the past one year and how can a person who has been encouraging his workers to attack the army for a year now be exempt from the May 9 attacks? Syed Hasnain Hashmi demanded that action should be taken under the Army Act against the leadership of PTI, including Imran Khan and those involved in the nationwide attacks on May 9.
A permanent legislation on the lines of Protection of Pakistan Act 2014 should also be enacted so that in the future, no miscreant can dare to weaken or attack the state, he suggested.
