PESHAWAR: The Capital City Police and Pakistan Army on Friday conducted targeted search operations in areas adjacent to tribal district Khyber to ensure law and order situation of the provincial metropolis. A team led by DSP Regi Circle Fida Hussain, Pakistan Army conducted search operations on the basis of intelligence information, said a handout. Police officers including SHO Police Station Nasir Bagh, Mubarak Zeb, SHO Regi Javed Akhtar, SHO Police Station Regi Model Town Himayat Khan, RRF jawans, Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU), Ladies Police, Sniffer Dogs and local police participated in the operations. A number of possible hideouts of the criminals and anti-social elements were searched and suspects have been detained during the operation. The operation has been carried out to ensure law and order situation in the area and to thwart the evil elements in their nefarious purposes.
