The former federal minister Ali Mohammad Khan who was arrested on charges of illegal recruitment in Mardan fisheries department, was sent to jail on two weeks judicial remand, sources said. Former federal minister Ali Mohammad Khan was arrested from Peshawar central jail when the ATC gave him bail. Sources added that Ali Mohammad Khan was arrested by the Anti-corruption department on the charges of illegal appointments in the fisheries department Mardan. Sources added that Ali Mohammad Khan was presented before the court.
The court sent him to jail on two weeks judicial remand.
Sources added that the Anti-corruption departments also conducted raids on the houses of former provincial minister Atif Khan, PTI lawmakers Amir Farzand Khan, Abdul Salam Afridi, Malik Shoukat, Zahir Shah Toro, former MNA Mujahid Khan, Assistant Director of Fisheries Department and other officers who were involved in the illegal recruitment and nominated in the FIR. However they were not present in their houses.
