Delegation headed by the chamber’s President briefed on Park and investment avenues, Uzbek officials appreciate SCCI for promotion of International trade linkages and exploring investment opportunities

A delegation of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by its president Junaid Altaf visited the Bio Pharma Park in Uzbekistan.
According to details, the delegation was consisted on President SCCI Junaid Altaf along with businessmen, Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan and participants of the Business Excellence Award and Investment Conference 2026, organizing by the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which briefed by officials of medical and pharmaceutical industry development agency about the Park and investment opportunities through joint venture.
Officials apprised the delegation regarding advanced reforms in Uzbekistan Pharmaceutical, medical equipment and cosmetic industry, encouraging investment climate, modern industrial infrastructure, and government policies, implementing for encouraging in foreign investment in Uzbekistan.
The delegation reviewed the modern facilities at the Bio Pharma Park along with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, medical technology, research and development, and joint investment opportunities.
Both sides on the occasion exchanged views about further strengthening of collaboration between Pakistan and Uzbekistan in the Pharmaceutical and medical sector.
Uzebk officials congratulated the president SCCI Junaid Altaf for successful holding of Business Excellence Award and Investment Conference 2026, and appreciated the chamber’s efforts for boosting international trade linkage and exploring new avenues of investment.
Both sides expressed the hope that the visit will play a key role in strengthening a long-term collaboration, joint investment and a strong trade relations between SCCI and Uzbekistan Medical and Pharma Industry Development Agency.
