ISLAMABAD: Gold prices continued losing streak on Tuesday in line with downward trend in the international market and the price of one tola of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs4,000. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association’s (APSGJA) data, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs4,000 to Rs221,500. Similarly, the gold rate for 10 grams of 24-karat moved down to Rs189,900 with a decrease of Rs3,430. Following suit, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were being traded at Rs173,720. The gold prices have been on a downward trajectory in the country for the last over two week. Gold prices eased by Rs4,150 (-1.79 percent) per tola last week, falling for the second straight week.
