Hashim Khan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junior Squash Championship for boys U11, U13, U15 and U17 while Women Senior Championship will be commencing from June 20-26, 2023 here at Qamar Zaman Squash Complex Peshawar.
This was stated by Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association Mansoor Zaman while talking to APP here on Wednesday. He said Squash Legend and KP Squash Association Chairman Qamar Zaman said that we are focusing on the grassroots level and our effort is to provide more opportunities for junior squash players to come forward so that they can come up to the best of their abilities.
He said that these age group players are our future, if attention is given to them now, they can become world champions in the future and can bring back Pakistan’s lost place in squash.
He said that KP Squash Association took a major step and decided to name all the competitions after the former champions and the first competition in this regard has been named after Hashim Khan with the aim of making the new generation aware of their heroes and also to make these heroes role models for the younger generation.
