ISLAMABAD: Court has fixed June 24 to indict former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in sedition case. The case against Fawad Chaudhry for hurling threats on Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja and other members of Election Commission came up for hearing before district and sessions court Islamabad led by Additional Sessions judge Tahir Abbas Sipra on Saturday. Fawad Chaudhry appeared in the court. The court while fixing date for indictment of Fawad Chaudhry ordered him to ensure his appearance in the court on next hearing. The court said during the hearing of the case that Fawad Chaudhry will be indicted on June 24. The court has provided copies of case to Fawad Chaudhry. It is pertinent to mention here that Fawad Chaudhry was arrested in this case on January 25. Sessions Court had ordered to release him on February 01 on bail. Online
