Prime Minister (PM) Shebaz Sharif has said Enemies of CPEC are enemies of development, peace, prosperity in Pakistan, and region
” enemies of CPEC are enemies of development, peace and prosperity in Pakistan and region. They don’t want our people get rid of poverty. India should benefit from CPEC instead of creating hindrance on its way, PM said this in his statement on the occasion of completion of 10 years of CPEC.
PM reiterated Pakistan and China are iron brothers. CPEC is a new chapter of this tested, evergreen and strategic partnership.
“I congratulate people and leadership of Pakistan and China on completion of 10 years of CPEC.
He underlined the CPEC is a gift from Chinese president Xi Jinping for the people of Pakistan.
It is matter of sorrow that impediment has come on the way to CPEC in four years, he observed. Baseless allegations were leveled against great friend China. We are stepping up the pace of CPEC by two times.
He said CPEC is a tool of cementing bilateral relations of Pakistan and China and the beginning of a new era of mutual partnership. It also includes projects ranging from water supply to education, technical training and skill development.

He said inclusion of capacity building of National Disaster Management Authority and proactive measures for prevention of natural calamities are also part of the CPEC. It also includes joint ventures for agricultural development that will also ensure food security in the country.
CPEC is project for elimination of poverty, unemployment and economic recession. CPEC will provide benefit to Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia and the entire region.
There will be transfer of technology due to construction of 9 special economic zones and industrial collaboration and local production will witness a surge, he remarked.
