SCO countries have great potential for cultural exchange and mutually beneficial cooperation in tourism.
SCO Summer Event 2023 will further promote cultural and tourism ties between Pakistan and SCO member countries. These views were expressed by Haseeb Gohar, Pakistan’s Political Consul in China SCO Summer Event 2023, China.
Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Culture and Tourism Promotion Week 2023 was held on July 28 at the Qingdao Pearl International Expo Center.
According to China Economic Net, CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee Standing Committee Member and Secretary of the SCO Demonstration Area (SCODA) Party Working Committee Chang Shin Chu said that the SCO Summer Event 2023 program series aims to be a bridge between the people.
Establishing a model of people-to-people integration, deepening mutual trust and cooperation, and ushering in a new chapter in business, tourism and cultural exchanges among SCO countries.
Highlighting the SCO as a dynamic international organization with diverse civilizations, SCO Deputy Secretary General Grigory Lugoinov said cultural exchanges and cooperation among SCO countries are getting closer and closer.
According to China Economic Net said taking this event as an opportunity, SCO countries will further strengthen cooperation and deepen understanding in the fields of tourism interaction and cultural heritage conservation, and cultural and people-to-people exchanges within the SCO family.
According to China Economic Net, the SCO States Artist Style Collection event was also launched during the event.
Sculptors and painters from SCO member countries will be invited to Qingdao and other locations to explore the natural and cultural heritage.
According to China Economic Net, the SCO Summer Event 2023 China, SCO National Culture and Tourism Promotion Week, sponsored by the China’s Foreign Cultural Exchange Center and SCODA Management Committee, will continue until August 6. During the week, the cultures of the SCO countries will be showcased at the Qingdao Pearl International Expo Center.
According to China Economic Net, the SCO Summer Event 2023 series of activities will continue until September 23, during which about 50 special activities will be held, including the SCO Media Think Tank Forum, cultural and artistic performances, exclusive product launches, and more. Includes advertising, and sports and entertainment events. During this time, Pakistan Day theme and China Pakistan Education Cooperation Promotion Conference will also be held.
