PESHAWAR
Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah has said all institutions and political parties should jointly convey a message of one nation and one destination on Independence Day.
In his message in connection with 76th Independence Day and addressing a seminar on ‘Istekkaam e Pakistan’ here on Saturday, Shah stressed signing a new social and political charter for establishment of an Islamic Welfare State, and its sole agenda is to be Pakistan and people.
He said the economy can only improve through stability and peace, for which personal interest should be sacrificed.
He said a message of one nation and one destination must be conveyed in Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Balistan and Azad Kashmir.
For the last 76 years, the whole nation has been waiting for such a unity, wherein differences between an ordinary citizen and the rich could be removed, and opportunities of progress would be available to all, he added.
He said ATP will celebrate 76th Independence Day with a renewed pledge to make Pakistan a true welfare Islamic state and disseminate one message that will be ‘Let come together’ and work for Pakistan and its people’s prosperity and progress.
“We would make pledge to protect great blessing of Independence safekeeping,”
Shah went on to say that politicians, rulers and elite segments have divided people, saying that grouping inflicted colossal loss to the country’s stability.
The ATP chairman said the country will be strengthened by jointly moving politics, government and people.
He, however, said personal interests and ego are surrounded in our government, politics and injustice with people, which should be removed.
He gave an invitation to youths and all people to be united under a single platform.
He said Pakistan is our country so that it is our duty to forge unity and agreement on all issues, saying that ATP will fulfil this responsibly.
